7. Cooperation in tackling climate change

The two sides speak highly of the China-U.S. Joint Presidential Statement on Climate Change issued during President Xi Jinping's state visit to the United States.

Both sides will work together and with other countries to make the Paris Climate Change Conference a success.

The two sides announce the expansion of cooperative research and development under CERC by launching a new technical track to improve the energy efficiency of medium-duty to heavy-duty trucks.
