BRI transforms Gambia's infrastructure

As the Belt and Road Initiative celebrates its tenth anniversary, Gambia has achieved significant advancements in its electricity infrastructure through a fruitful collaboration with a Chinese company. The Gambia GBA Transmission and Transformation Modernization Project, meticulously designed and constructed by the Chinese company TBEA, commenced in December 2020. Upon completion, this project will ensure a stable power supply for residents, schools, hospitals, businesses, and governments in the Greater Banjul Area and other key regions, positively impacting the lives of over 500,000 people.
