Xi, Tokayev hold talks in Kazakhstan

President Xi Jinping on Wednesday held talks with his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the Kazakh capital of Nur-Sultan.

The trip was Xi's first foreign visit since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Xi said it demonstrates the high level and distinctiveness of China-Kazakhstan relations, and the profound friendship between the two countries.
