A man surnamed Jiang from Beijing proposed to his girlfriend on a high-speed train heading to Chengdu from Beijing days before the 2018 Valentine’s Day.
The high-speed train proposal was planned by Jiang and his friends two months ago as a big surprise for his girlfriend.
“I will marry him, and I appreciate the romance he created,” Jiang’s girlfriend said.

Jiang said that high-speed trains have become a name card for China, representing the rapid development of the country, and that was why he wanted to make the proposal in the carriage.
“I want the high-speed train to witness and share our love,” he said.
