    10,000 haws form national flag for birthday of mother China
    October 1, 2015 is the 66th birthday of the People's Republic of China. Local peasants in Jiyuan of Henan Province collected over 10,000 haws and more than hundred persimmons to form the shape of Chinese flag on September 29, 2015, as a way of honoring the national holiday. (CNS/Wang Zhongju)
